I just got back from a four day side trip to Rio de Janeiro with some other Meraki's to catch some last chance sun and do a helicopter over Rio too. Buenos Aires and Argentina was cold so Rio was a great move and the right way to leave the continent. Also met up with a very sweet new friend from Bolivia which made the trip more special. As I boarded my plane for the end of my first half of my trip I can't help but wonder what the next six months has in store for me. South America...

Back in 2005 I came to Buenos Aires in January when the weather was absolutely beautiful and warm. Now I am here and it is late fall/winter and it is chilly and I can not get over this damn cold.
